Claims Repricing
Premier WorkComp Management provides workers' compensation repricing services. Participating PPO claims are typically filed directly to Premier WorkComp Management for claims repricing. Upon receipt, Premier WorkComp Management reprices provider claims according to contracted discounts. Once a claim is repriced, Premier WorkComp Management forwards the original claim and the repricing cover sheet to the case manager, insurance carrier, third-party administrator or self-administered employer group for claim payment.
Our repricing staff excels in surpassing specific TAT (turnaround time) goals and accuracy standards, making our process one of the most efficient and accurate in the industry. We attribute this efficiency to our diligent analysis of reports. Because we run reports daily through our claims tracking system, we are able to reduce turn-around times and the number of “outliers” or slow claims.
Premier WorkComp Management is not an insurance carrier or third party administrator, so we do not pay claims. Upon receipt of a claim, we apply the network discount and forward it to the payor for further processing. Premier WorkComp Management does not determine member eligibility or benefits. Eligibility and benefits are validated by the payor.
